When Elvis was a boy he promised his parents he would make a lot of money and buy them the finest house in town. For Elvis, Graceland was the fulfillment of that childhood promise.
Elvis lived more that 20 years in Graceland, it was so close to his heart, other than his daughter,family, and his music it was probably his greatest pride and joy.
Elvis embodied the American Dream- a small town boy who reached stardom and changed our music culture.
I hope you enjoy my collect of photos some taken at Tupelo his birth place, and others at Graceland. I included shots of the wall with names and notes from fans, which I enjoyed reading.
